Hi there, and welcome to Barbie Pageant!
Our names are Rachel and Grace, and we use our love of sewing and design to create amazing designs for Barbie. We both have a competitive streak, so just making designs for Barbie is not enough, so we hold Barbie pageants! We first began holding pageants about four years ago, and through the years, we have each completed about 300 designs.
Our mom is an expert seamstress, and when we were little, she would let us play with scraps of fabric, lace, ribbons, and buttons from her sewing projects. From those early design beginnings, we progressed until she taught us to sew in earnest when we were older. Now, we can and do make clothes for ourselves, but we really love to design and sew for Barbie.
Other ways we enjoy spending our time include:

♥ Watching old movies and I Love Lucy
♥Playing with our five little brothers (Legos, basketball, Star Wars video games, etc)
♥ Cooking
♥ Going to Garage Sales (every week!)
♥ Music (Grace plays violin, and Rachel plays clarinet and piano)
♥ Art, especially drawing (that’s Grace)
♥ Math (that’s Rachel, I know, it’s weird)
